ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr Jolly Saxena was born in Rishikesh (Uttarakhand). Her father is Shri Shyam Bihari Mathur and mother Smt. Shakuntala Devi Mathur. Her primary education was in Srinagar, Garhwal (Uttarakhand), after that she did B.A.M.S. from Government Ayurvedic College, Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar in the year 2004 and M.D. from Rishikul Government Ayurvedic College, Haridwar in the year 2008. Presently she is working as H.O.D. and Professor in Goel Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow (U.P.). She has been a guide in the thesis of many M.D. scholars and provided guidance in their research work. Many research papers written by her have been published in National and International Journals. Apart from them presently Dr Jolly Saxena is an Honorable member of Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medical System Board, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and she is also a Member of the Board of Studies formed by Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
