As the eleventh scientist to join the prestigious National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), he played a pioneering role in establishing the first high-pressure and rock mechanics laboratory in India. His contributions have been recognized across numerous scientific publications and paved the way for future scientific findings.

About the Author
The author was born on March 8th, 1933, in Tenali town (presently a City, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh State), in the erstwhile Madras Presidency, India. He was raised in Madras (Chennai is the present name), the Capital City of the Presidency, his parents having moved there and his father deciding to be an attorney of the Madras High Court. His Schooling and College education was in Madras. He took his B.Sc., Degree in Science from the Presidency College in 1954. During this period, many historical changes were taking place in the country and the world, such as World War II, India’s Freedom movement, attainment of Independence, followed by the splitting of the Presidencies of India into different States based on the decisions of States-Reorganization on Regional Language basis, all these influencing the author, and experience the pre-independence and post-independence developments. His being the first child and parents going through unsettled conditions and economic stringency he was left with no options other than to fend for himself, planning to be on his own. Worked as a Science and Mathematics Teacher for higher classes at Rajahmundry City in Andhra Pradesh State for one year. Saved enough to attend a Technical Course on Radio Engineering at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu State. This gave him the opportunity of working for over a year as a Radio Service Engineer in Guntur City in Andhra Pradesh. By then, Andhra Pradesh expanded with the merger of Telangana and Hyderabad becoming the Capital. Visualizing the developments I moved to Hyderabad in advance. In keeping with these changes, the parents too moved to Hyderabad along with the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
Said changes helped him to pursue his higher education during (1957-59) and to acquire M.Sc., in Physics, specializing in Electronics from Osmania University.
Thereafter, I had a brief stint, Teaching Pre-University level, followed by Teaching Graduate level during 1959-60. At this stage.
