About The Book
Mathematical Solutions for Engineers: A Problem-Based Approach bridges the gap between abstract mathematical theories and real-world engineering applications. Designed to equip students with critical problem-solving skills, it presents practical challenges across various fields, demonstrating how mathematics provides effective solutions.
Using a unique Problem-Based Learning (PrBL) approach, each learning block introduces real-world scenarios—from enhancing autonomous vehicle safety to optimizing roller coaster designs—guiding readers through mathematical modeling, analysis, and solutions. Covering essential topics like matrices, calculus, differential equations, and multivariable functions, the book fosters creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning, making it invaluable for students and educators.
Whether you’re an aspiring engineer or a seasoned professional, this book will inspire you to see mathematics as a powerful tool for solving complex problems and driving innovation.
