About The Author

This multi-authored book is revised by 3 editors after a previous edition comprising the work of 6 authors of whom 2 are editors. The project was envisaged by Dr Purva Shoor in 2023 when the first edition was materialized. She works as a Professor in Community Medicine department, American International Institute of Medical Sciences, Udaipur, Rajasthan. She also holds a diploma in environmental and occupational health from IGNOU. Dr. Purva has also published Environmental Cardiology-A Community Medicine Perspective in 2024. She has an experience of 15 research projects up till 2024, several book chapters in multi-authored books, 2 self-written health education booklets marketed as Project Cheshta both in Hindi and English. She is a multi-linguistic and a prolific academician. The second improved version has major contributions from all the editors:
