About The Author
Rohit Kumar Mishra (born 2 August 1997, Surguja, Chhattisgarh) is currently working as a Program Assistant at Deendayal Research Institute-Tulsi Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ganiva, Chitrakoot (UP). He has completed his B.Sc. Agriculture (2018, 7.91 OGPA) and M.Sc. Agriculture (Agronomy) (2020, 8.06 OGPA) in first division from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur and has qualified ASRB-ICAR NET (2021) in Agronomy. He has also passed PGDCA (C.V. Raman University) and PGDRD (IGNOU, New Delhi). He is the Chairman of Farmers Bridge Food Park Pvt. Ltd. He has served as a Procurement Officer, Young Professional-II at the ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management, Raipur, Senior Research Fellow at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Chhatarpur, and Consultant at the Agriculture and Food Department of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. He has delivered three lectures on All India Radio in the field of agricultural extension. He has published 25 technical articles, 30 co-authors, 12 research papers, and four abstracts. He has been awarded at the national, state, and inter-college levels in official language, speech, debate, and essay competitions. He is a co-applicant on two patents/designs. He has received numerous honors, including the Young Agri Researcher Award (2026), the Best SRF Award (2025), and the Innovative and Best Article Awards. He is also an NSS ‘B’ certificate holder.
Anu Gautam is currently working as a Lab Technician at JNKVV, Jabalpur. She received her primary education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh). She then earned her B.Sc. in Agriculture (2017) from Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia University and her M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology (2019) from JNKVV, Jabalpur, with first-class degrees. She also qualified for the ASRB-ICAR NET (2021).
Shubham Pandey (born January 22, 1996, Chhattisgarh) currently serves as a Senior Marketing Officer at Hindustan Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, overseeing the fertilizer marketing and distribution system across the Surguja Division from Ambikapur. He is recognized as a young agricultural expert, creative writer, and influential speaker. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Agriculture and Agricultural Economics from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, and an MBA in International Business Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. His experience in the agricultural sector has been enriched by working across diverse geographical and social landscapes in Chhattisgarh, where he has established himself as a powerful bridge between farmers, the distribution system, and the market. Along with his professional work, he has a keen interest in literature. His articles, poems, and thoughts have been published in various journals, magazines, and forums. He has been honored with the Out of the Box Thinking Award for his innovative thinking and outstanding work ethic. Through this book, he has shared his knowledge, experience and practical understanding and has tried to present a useful guide for students, researchers and farmers in the field of agriculture (agronomy).
Dr. Anjali Patel, a resident of Raigarh district (Chhattisgarh), currently works as an Assistant Professor at the IGKV College of Agriculture and Research, Pakhanjoor (Kanker). She received her B.Sc. in Agriculture (2018, 8.08 OGPA, First Class Honors), M.Sc. in Agricultural Agronomy (2020, 8.54 OGPA, First Class Honors, University Silver Medal), and Ph.D. in Agricultural Agronomy (2023, 8.62 OGPA, First Class) from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur. She is an ASRB-ICAR NET (2021) qualifier and also holds a PGDCA from C.V. Raman University and served as a Senior Research Fellow for two years at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi.
