The present book entitled as ‘Virginia Woolf and Major Protagonists in her Novels’ is the great gift to English literature lovers and researchers. This book presents the protagonists portrayed in Virginia Woolf’s novels, ‘The Voyage Out’, ‘The Night and Day’, ‘Mrs. Dalloway’ and ‘To the Lighthouse’. This book is divided into Five chapters.
First chapter gives the information about the life of Virginia Woolf, her family background, her education, Bloomsbury Group, her marriage and married life.
The second chapter of this book gives the enlightening information about the literary works of Virginia Woolf. This book gives the information of Virginia Woolf’s journalist career. This book highlights her major novels, short stories and short story collections and its themes in short.
The third chapter of this book gives the detail information about the major concepts used by Virginia Woolf in her novels. These concepts are ‘Stream of Consciousness Technique’, ‘Interior Monologue’. In this chapter, author has clarified the concept ‘Protagonist’ with some illustrative definitions.
The fourth chapter major protagonists focuses on the major protagonists in the novels, ‘The Voyage Out’, ‘The Night and Day’, ‘Mrs. Dalloway’ and ‘To the Lighthouse’.
The fifth chapter of this book gives the conclusion with bibliography and webliography.
