Mudit Jain never set out to be an environmentalist. He is an everyday urban Indian, living the fast-paced, screen-heavy life, until a heart-breaking incident last year changed everything. A security guard in his apartment complex collapsed from heatstroke during peak summer. That moment hit harder than any headline ever could.

Instead of scrolling past the tragedy, Mudit took it personally. He installed coolers in his building, began questioning his lifestyle choices, and started digging deeper into the climate emergency knocking on India’s doorstep. What he found was terrifying, not just the data, but the silence.
